Valley Veterinary Hospital
Valley Veterinary Hospital began as Valley Highway Animal Clinic, and was opened by Dr. Robert Hoffman at our present location in January 1969. Dr. Hoffman, an Oregon Native who received his degree from the University of Portland, retired in 1999. Many of our long-established clients will remember him fondly.
In January of 2000, Dr. Jennifer Leddy and Robin Jacobson bought the practice together, re-naming it Valley Veterinary Hospital. While changes to the exterior and interior have been made during the 36 years of its existence, the our committment to helping Aloha, Hillsboro, and Beaverton pet owners have healthy and happy companions has never changed.
We are truly a community hospital. We embrace the issues and challenges of animal welfare and the human-animal bond. Each year, we contribute our services to homeless pets. We have provided complimentary medical treatment and surgery to rescue groups such as Homes for Hounds, Katylyn Feline Foundation, and The Oregon Humane Society.
We also provide community outreach programs in the form of educational programs for children and adults, as well as externships for veterinary and technician students. Our doctors have served on various boards, including the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association and the Portland Community College Veterinary Technician Advisory Board.
